ACTIVITY LIABILITY RELEASE AND WAIVER

Participation in RC Microverse activities, including operating or being near radio-controlled vehicles, course features, obstacles, tools, and equipment, involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to, collisions, trip hazards, falls, equipment malfunction, electrical hazards, and other known and unknown risks that may result in injury, property damage, or loss.

1. Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that participation is voluntary and I choose to participate with full knowledge of the risks involved.

2. Assumption of Risk

I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of RC Microverse or others.

3. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, I hereby release, waive, and discharge RC Microverse, its owners, employees, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and venue hosts from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation, INCLUDING ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF RC MICROVERSE.

This release does not apply to gross negligence or willful misconduct.

4. Responsibility for Conduct

I agree to follow all rules, instructions, and safety guidance provided by RC Microverse staff and understand that failure to do so may result in removal from the activity.

5. Physical Condition

I certify that I am physically capable of participating and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation.

6. Minor Participants

If signing on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant and consent to their participation. I agree to this release on their behalf.

7. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless RC Microverse from any claims resulting from my actions or the actions of the minor participant.

8. Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
